Etching and aquatint with engraving, printed on Somerset white paper, artist’s proof outside the published edition of 35. Auerbach’s most recent print, completed after the catalogue went to press in February 2007. It is conceived on the same scale and prepared in the same way as Auerbach’s two previous prints (P.9-2006 and P.1-2007) The sitter is the art criitc and writer, William Feaver, who has curated exhibitions of work by Auerbach and his close friend Lucian Freud.
